Game Console Registration

Each device connected to the university's network needs to have it's mac address registered under the student's netID. This allows the university to monitor network policy compliance when using the device. Use the information below to find the MAC address for the device. Once you have found the MAC address, register the device on the UConn SelfReg.

Please note that Game Consoles cannot connect to UConn-Secure or UConn-Guest. If you live in an area where these networks are available, you can only use a Wired/Ethernet connection. However, if you live in an area of campus that isn't fully wireless, you may use a personal router, and connect your game console through it. To check if you live in a fully wireless location, refer to this site. Contact HuskyTech directly if you have any issues.
